S. Florida Oasis

Comfort. Style. Relaxation

S. Florida Oasis began its journey when I saw how difficult it could be for someone in recovery to find stability. After Wael’s relapse and time in detox, it became clear that there weren’t enough affordable, supportive housing options for people like him. This inspired the idea to create a sober home that could fill that gap.

Today, our sober home provides a safe and affordable place for individuals to continue their recovery. We’ve built a supportive community where residents can focus on their sobriety, while also having the freedom and responsibility to rebuild their lives

Services

At our sober living, we provide the balance between structure and freedom, designed to empower our residents as they transition into independent living. While we offer the essentials like Wi-Fi, electricity, water, and all utilities, our true value lies in the supportive environment we cultivate. Our homes aren’t just places to stay—they’re spaces where residents can rebuild their lives with the peace of mind that comes from having reliable amenities.

What sets us apart is our focus on community. Each of our homes fosters an environment where strong friendships are built, and accountability is encouraged. We believe that recovery is more successful when surrounded by people who truly care, and our residents form a tight-knit support network that lasts long after they leave.

But don't just take our word for it - hear from our residents themselves

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my recovery journey. The staff is caring and supportive, and the environment is just what I needed to feel safe and secure

During my stay there, multiple residents relapsed and were allowed back, some after only a couple days of going to "detox". One morning i was awakened to the yells of a former resident who somehow gained access to the house even though his passcode shouldve been deleted. He was in full psychosis and screaming "they're coming to kill me". The kitchen is a constant disaster, with dishes piled in the sink and dirty counters. I resorted to purchasing paper plates and plastic silverware because every time I went to use a "clean" dish or "clean" piece of silverware, there would be crusty food particles or oily substances on them. One resident in particular liked to use the living room as his personal sleep area/eating space. On some occasions I would come home from work around 12 midnight to find him sleeping on the couch with food trash and pill bottles scattered about, only to find the same scene the following morning. Also if you ever want to move out, do it on the last day of the week, because if you pay your last week's rent and leave before that week is over, you won't get any money back. Bottom line is, ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY AND IF YOU WANT TO LIVE IN FILTH, AMONG PEOPLE IN ACTIVE ADDICTION, JUST MOVE INTO S. FLORIDA OASIS.

One more tidbit, I moved out a month ago and they're still sending me invoices to pay rent.

S. Florida Oasis is the best Sober Living housing groups I’ve ever experienced. I have lived in a few in SoFlo, but never felt a part of a community, a brotherhood, or a family.
Accountability is encouraged, but not overly pressed upon the residents. The rules are simple: STAY SOBER, COMMUNICATE, BE A PART OF, and THRIVE. It’s just that simple.
The houses are CLEAN, furnished, high-end, and well-maintained. Recovery is highly-encouraged but not policed.
If you want to stay sober and grow, don’t here. It’s been worth every minute.
